Great local book store with a great selection and knowledgeable staff. If in Portland it's a must see
We visit here daily when we are in town. They have a little bit of everything and I could browse the book area for hours. Very friendly, helpful staff.
Stumbled into this place after having walked by it several dozen times. Pretty neat little place with books stacked to the ceiling and a few other items scattered throughout (e.g. old maps). Certainly worth a visit.
Great bookshop. Knowledgeable staff and neat stock. This is one of a chain of Sherman's that have been around for a long time. If you're looking for recommendations, this place is without comparison.
That Said, all books are market cost and there are no used selections in store. There are a lot of used bookstores in the city that "school" this place. I recommend this place more for the gifts.
