I worked for Minott's as a designer for several years before relocating to NJ and I miss this shop! They offer high quality flower products, unique designs, and helpful enthusiastic staff. Having worked there I saw that the level of design in consistently high and they do try to make amends when things go wrong - as sometimes happens with live products delivered under tight deadlines. I live in NJ now but whenever I order flowers for friends in Maine I always call Minott's. I have not found a comparable florist here in NJ>
I stopped by here a few times just to smell the flowers, very nice people and they have great deals. Picked out a custom bouquet for someone and she loved it!
Sam at Minott's did the flowers for our rehearsal dinner and wedding on 12/27 and 12/28. Sam was great to work with, had wonderful ideas and the flowers were even more beautiful than I had hoped for. Highly recommended.
I have ordered flowers several times from Megan for delivery to my mother in Portland. She always takes careful notes about my preferences and sends the most stunning and unique arrangements! My mom is a flower lover, so that's important to me. I've never been more pleased with a floral designer. Being from out of town, I always feel 100% confident about the flowers she will deliver. Eliza answered my call and went way out of the way to help me understand that "Long Stem Gardenias" just do not grow anywhere. She helped me select the perfect flowers for my wife and then searched her suppliers for the perfect Gardenia Tree in a potted ceramic basket. My wife loves the smell of Gardenias and Eliza created the perfect floral gift for my wife, and then had it delivered to her desk. 5 STARS for Minott and Eliza. So I tried again for Mothers Day with a dozen roses (White, Pink, and Red) in a vase, delivered to her desk. She just called with tears in her eyes. 5 STARS for Minott and Eliza. Thank you.
