A wonderful museum (and functional synagogue) with a very warm and outgoing staff. I thoroughly enjoyed (and was very moved) by the current traveling exhibit they have at the museum, Holocaust Heroes: Fierce Females, a unique series of tapestries which is a wonderful tribute to several females who are true heroes, that made a difference both during and after the war. They also have a few plaques detailing personal accounts of several Holocaust survivors. Be sure to read a few of these when you visit. This is a small exhibit but well worth the time to visit, and is free to the public.
