Affordable way to cruise about Casco Bay. Tip: don't forget to bring your own booze and food!! We made the mistake of forgetting and enjoyed a 2.5 hour cruise sober. And it was the sunset cruise. It was quite boring as all the islands look the same and similar history. The boat itself is super old and could use updating. Pretty dirty on the bottom deck. And 2 hour ish is sooo long.
Fine terminal where you buy your tickets and wait for the ferry to come. Enclosed and protected from the elements, making sure you stay warm and dry when it counts. The employees are friendly and nice, and the interior is clean. It can get a little crowded, and parking can prove challenging during peak season.
