This is one of our favorite parks. Love the events they have here year round, the playground and the splash fountains in the summer. Feeding the ducks is always fun too...we miss the paddle boats!
Nice place to let the dog off the leash on both of us got some exercise, for the most part most of the pet owners were responsible and picked up after there pets
This place has a lot to offer! 55 acres of land with a outdoor water play area, duck pond, playground, basketball and tennis courts, baseball field and stage area. This place has parking both park side as well as within the park. Often here for Local Farmers Markets and other sponsored/city events such as festivals!! Wether looking for a place to be active or relax under a tree reading a book, Deering Oaks offers it!
This is a beautiful park. It's well designed and you can usually find a parking spot. The exception to parking may be on Saturday during the summer. They have a great farmer's market and it's usually pretty busy. It's a great place to walk, feed the ducks, play basketball or tennis. There is also a nice children's playground, baseball field and portable bathroom facilities.
This park is very pretty, with a big pond and a lot of flowers. They also have big trees and a farmers market. It is too bad that a road runs right through the middle of the park with no safe way to cross it. Because of that, I rate this place 4 stars.
