Exceptional view. Pleasant walk from Downtown Old-Port. Options for coffee and fresh baked goods along the way.
It was nice from what it was. The interpretive signs really helped us get a feel for the importance of the area to u.s. history. There wasn't very much here, however. But we definitely appreciated the water fountains.
Such an amazing location!!! There are several historical items and a couple of gorgeous memorials. There is a large amount of space for people to lounge in the sun and enjoy the view of the ocean and boats. I could easily spend a whole day here. There is limited parking on busy days but plenty of nearby places to park and walk. The park itself is on top of a hill however the trails wind slowly down to the ocean and Eastern Promenade Trl. The only down side is it is difficult for wheelchairs. Definitely going back!
Very nice. Gorgeous views and area. Rich in history. Well done. Worth the visit.
Took a nice walk along the shore, the trail is nice. Opportunity to kayak, with rental company available on site. Picnic tables available all along the trail as well as benches to take in the view. The right side of trail has stairs so if you have a stroller be prepared, but the left side of the trail is stroller/wheel chair friendly. These sides are determined as you are looking at the ocean. Restrooms available, small beach/swim area. Fishing area off the rocks. View of the cruise ship if it is in port. Free parking and dog friendly.
