Had a bag being restored there for a month. I get a call that it was finished and when I showed up and nothing had been done except a small stitch repair. The owner said, "oh yeah I remember you wanting it restored" Then he told me that he could quickly do the job. He did such a rush job that there were parts not polished. I gave it back to him asking if he could go over sections which were not polished and he begrudgingly did. Upon returning home, I saw other areas which he had missed and I called him saying I was dissatisfied and that I had hoped he could make good on it if I dropped it off again, giving him more time to work on it. He said, "nope, I'm done with it. You can come in for a refund, but I'm done."
What a great shop!! I've been coming to Roy's for 10 years and have been happy every time. Roy's always repairs well, always when promised, and for extremely reasonable rates. I can't tell you how many shoes they have fixed for me over the years. They even re-laced an old baseball glove for me once. There's nothing this guy can't do. Save your money and come to Roy's!
Roy replaced the soles on my favorite boots and they'll be good for another 5-6 years of heavy use hopefully.

They were done on time, were expertly fixed up, and got a nice shine as well.
Really surprised by the owners lack of pride in his craft and poor customer service. Don't even bother.
