On a recent visit to Maine with my partner and friend we came to Sonny's not once but three times. Excellent, original brunch food with friendly waiters and a terrific atmosphere. I wish such a place existed in my hometown!
Great food and service. We were able to get a reservation here the night we arrived, unlike some of the other top Portland picks.
Literally THE best drinks in Maine. I wont get a Bloody Mary/Maria anywhere else now, it just doesn't compare. Epically delicious, ever changing menu, trendy crowd, super cool and comfortable atmosphere. We love having brunch here!
The meal was crazy good. The Peruvian chicken is a last meal ever, type of dish. The skin was crisp, the meat super most, great spices. Total package. Ceviche was fresh and flavorful with perfect aeronautics. Wish we'd found this place sooner.
Just had a delicious meal here with my grandmother. The kitchen was more than accommodating to make sure the entire meal was vegan, and our server was extremely patient in explaining the menu options to my grandmother. The roasted corn is perfectly seasoned, heirloom tomatoes were so sweet and good, and we loved the salsa options.
