This place makes some of the best cocktails in town. Its always a go to when showing around out-of-town guests. Creative flavors, large enough selection for everyone to enjoy, and a swank vibe that still feels accessible whether you're dressed to the 9's or wearing Bean boots and flannel.
The drinks we had were great (forgot what they're called now). The ambiance wasn't what I was expecting given the name of the place (it had a bit of a borderline-hipster vibe to me). Overall it was good for a happy hour though.
The drinks were spot on for balance and taste. They weren't over thought and heavy, they were just right. The food matched in delicious balance. They were plated beautifully to boot. Definitely going back to this place as much as possible.
The service was not spectacular (actually felt more like we were actually in the Nordics than in the United States!), but the cocktails were AMAZING! Definitely try a few of the different drinks they can make for you, and ask for any specials or extra ideas they have. We went for only one drink, and left four drinks later! A must-stop if you are in Portland for a few nights!
Just the best for kicking back and waiting for a restaurant reservation. Their spreadable whipped butter on the bread is nuts. Good cider list too.
