The special burger is amazing. Fries are fantastic and crisp. There are great beer specials and selection. Small place but great atmosphere.
I have a new "go to" spot when visiting Portland. Tomaso's packs a punch you would not expect from the outward appearance. My wife and I walked up not sure if the place was even open, but once you open door - wow - the place was packed on a Sunday afternoon! We were lucky and another couple were leaving as we walked in and we scored a couple bar seats. Tomaso's Canteen has an awesome selection of local and regional craft beer, wide array of specialty cocktails all with excellent in-house made sausage, flat top burgers and wings. Try the mac & cheese sprinkled with bacon or the POOH wings - you will not be disappointed. They also have a selection of "beer and a shot" options, which we thought was great! We will 100% be back... loved it.
Wings were great very distinctive taste and the burger was also great with a distinctive taste. Had a fun beer and shot combo deal. Small cheaper than. Other places friendly environment
1st time in - I had the Cuban = out of this world! Husband had the fish tacos, he gets them everywhere we go & said they definitely were top 2!!!
By far one of the secret little gems in this area, fantastic bar food and local craft beer list. The food was great to split and pick on with friends. We had the wings that had a great seasoning on them, I believe it was called “dirt” wings. Every time we come to this area we always stop in even if it’s just for a beer either the locals.
