Dr. David Thompson has been my husband's( W. C. Langevin) ENT DOCTOR since the late '80s and has performed surgery on him several times when needed, correctly diagnosed his medical problems when needed and he would have no other ENTs while he is still a practicing physician. He has followed him from his private practice to his current association with Mercy ENT and hope he continues to keep him as a patient until he retires . I thought Dr Thomson was so very compassionate and my surgery went very well. Cosmetically he did a great job.Thorough ,professional and empathetic.
Extremely pleasant, kind, technically skilled ENT. He has operated on my sinuses with fantastic results. He has worked on my ears (multitude of problems) always with the desired result. He removed my daughters tonsils and has helped both my mother and mother in-law with their chronic ear issues.
The worst doctor I have ever been to. Took over an hour and fifteen minutes to see me then spent ten minutes with me and gave me a diagnosis that was completely wrong. When he entered the room he said "so tell me your story" I said "well the common thought it..." He than interrupted me and said "I don't want to hear your thoughts, or others, I am the doctor I do the diagnosing." I was going to give him the opinion of the other doctor who saw me. But this man's ego was so large that he didn't want to hear it. He made me feel as though I was wasting his time and that I was an idiot. I would never go back to him again. I strongly urge others to look for a different doctor than him. Any doctor who thinks himself better than his patients is not someone worth your time or money.
I thought Dr David Thompson was a great doctor my surgery went well, was very easy to talk to. Was a very good listener. I would recommend him to all my friends.
