Kind of over whelming when you first get there because there is so much equipment and the place is so large. But once you settle in it's awesome, the place can absorb a ton of people without feeling crowded because it's so large.
Pretty good place, has everything you can think of. It's a bit more pricey than pf and it would be so much better if it was open 24hrs.
Very nice gym. Just dropped by for a day pass. Cool people here and they have a dedicated strength training room. 4 or so nice squat racks, platforms and bumper plates, Westside Power Bars, chains, and some other strong lifters present. They have lots of machines and stuff too. Very nice and well equipped gym. One of the best Ive ever been to.
This gym is in a new location at 512 Warren Ave, and has even renovated the new facility and added tons of new equipment! Classes are included and the membership rates are reasonable with no added fees. This is hands down the only gym in southern Maine with this extensive of a selection of equipment and class offering. Great vibe and child care on site too!
The Fitness Factory factory offers big city amenities with a convenient location. The equipment is excellent and I rarely have to wait for a rack or machine since their is a surplus. The staff is friendly and approachable. I haven't taken any of their classes, but they always appear well attended. The owners are currently renovating some aspects of the gym and it only continues to get better.
