Upon arrival the staff was very attentive, the searched around to make sure I had just the right room. I requested a room by the pool but it was closed for maintenance. I'm not sure if it was really closed or not because our room was so far away from it we never saw it. Right away they lost my belongings but made sure they got me some loaned clothes that were an ugly shade of safety orange. They also got me what must have been doallar store cheap toiletries because the toothpaste had no flavor and worked for everything but tooth paste .(hair gel , after shave, glue) paid our security deposit in ramen noodles and then we were brought a meal while we waited. The meal was edible yet it was far from the gourmet fare promised by the chauffeur that brought us. After waiting in the lobby far too long they finally informed us that our room was available and we were escorted down to what I can only assume was the basement . The room was dirty, sparsely furnished, and due to a mistake in our reservations, it was occupied. The bell hop told us it was all they had available so we were separated and shown to different rooms. The mattress was thin , the furniture steel and it smelled like urine and feces. There was no door on the bathroom and the room was so small you could touch your hands to both walls if you stood in the middle. The was no curtains on the window and the floor was not carpeted . The bell hop was very surly and offered no tips for sight seeing . He also didn't seem to hear me when I informed him that my bed had no pillow. Once he left he slammed the door in my face and somehow managed to lock the door and us inside. When I tried to summon him back it only angered him and caused his frustration to become more and more evident, apparently he hasn't been in the hospitality business very long as he made no apologies for what happened and only offered extra nights to componsate for the poor conditions and did not give out refunds. The rest of the staff were also very rude and uncooperative. I don't recommend this place AT ALL , the only redemption for the location was their seemed to be a few other guests that were way to talk to and they had nightly card games in the parlor but in general most of them were as inept as the staff.
