Representative was professional and friendly. In and out no hassles.
almost unbelievably bad. Nicholas gets the Scrooge McHertz award for turning my daughter away on Christmas Eve, based on some fabricated hidden charges which pushed her charge card over the limit. No doubt there is some 'policy' behind which cowards and incompetents can hide
Very friendly staff. Knowledge
The car was nice and clean, at least. I returned it a day early to rent a cheaper car elsewhere. And...then I left my EZ pass in the car. I called within a few hours. The car was re-rented already and they hadn't noticed. I was told this was my problem. I called back and got someone else, equally not helpful. 3rd time someone said they would flag the car to be checked when it returned and to call Saturday between 9 and noon. I did, 3 times, no one answered every. Called Monday 2 hours after opening - constant ringing and no answer. When I got someone, finally, they were, again, super unhelpful, boarderline rude and accusing me of lying about leaving the EZ pass, swearing they had checked the car. Maybe they did and the person who rented it took it, but the lack of help, consideration and basic empathy with regard to the price of the rent AND the missing EZ pass, combined with the horrible price bait-and-switch, has left me with such a bad taste in my mouth that I cannot imagine using Hertz ever again and I will NEVER recommend anyone to this location.
Experience was pretty positive. Helpful and friendly employee, car was a Toyota and it was clean drove nicely.
Very disappointed. I booked online using a code from a reputable website to bring their price into about $10 less than Enterprise. I arrived and was told that they had tried to call me - they had not - but that that code wasn't valid and the price would be triple what Enterprise was. I had car repairs scheduled and was late for work and HAD to get their car. As a "courtesy" they brought it down a bit, still more expensive than Enterprise without a discount. I figured it wasn't great but at least tolerable. The accusation that I was cheating them, somehow, and that this was "my fault" for using a coupon code that was labeled for general use, getting no questions or warnings when booking online that it was a corporate code, and that I was honest in saying I wasn't an employee of a certain company was insulting. I was made to feel a criminal for relying on the price allowed to be booked at online, something that made me go out of my way to use them.
