Loved this hotel. Great decor and cozy room. Bed was comfortable and clean. Room was contemporary style which was nice. The desk staff was super helpful and friendly. They also have a shuttle for free to anywhere downtown Portland. What we got for the price was amazing. Will stay again!
Six night stay. Nice staff and rooms. Housekeeping not the best. Rooms are very nice but the TV channels are very limited. Special features include upper floors “California Suites” at the west end of the building that come complete with on site simulated earthquakes! After the first “quake” we thought that it might be real but after several episodes were puzzled. Staff didn’t know the source of the vigorous, vertical vibrations that at times were strong enough to move a glass across a table! The manager later told us it was the laundry machines on a lower floor that were shaking that end of the hotel. He moved us to a suite at the east end of the building. No more “quakes”.
I was here for a professional event. We used a conference room on the second floor. It suited our needs just fine. We did drinks at the bar lounge and that was pleasant worth plenty of comfortable seating. Plenty of street parking.
Beautiful, modern rooms. Spacious and well-designed, the layout of this hotel is well thought out. It's located in the Old Port, not as central as some of the other hotels, but definitely walking distance to everything. And because of this, street parking near the hotel is still possible, if you don't want to valet.
We were here for vacation. The hotel is in a great location, central to everything. The room was excellent and clean and had an awesome water view. We'll stay here every time!
