Had been there a few times and every time there was an issue. Been there on the last weekend and we've been charged 10$ for parking, which was a first. Hotel was packed and we had young customers on our floor. Place was noisy till late at night. Plumbing had flaws also. Great view on the old port though which made it more pleasurable. I often visit Portland, but will be looking elsewhere.
Room was nice, service was great and the view of the bay was lovely. Only complaint is that the heater/ac unit made the air in the room extremely dry. I snored every night I was there and woke up with a bloody nose once, both things that never happen to me. I kept water by the bed and frequently woke up due to severe dry throat. Unfortunately it was too cold to not use the unit. Even if you want to use the fan function for white noise it requires either ac or heat to be on
We stay here every year for multiple days and always enjoy our stay. The service is always wonderful, especially the fellow that we usually get who drives the shuttle. Besides airport service, we love that the shuttle will take you to area restaurants if you don't want to walk. But the hotel is within walking distance to all the fun places in the area. Going to stay there again in a few weeks and very excited to go to Portland again. Our favorite restaurants in the area for dinner are: Fore St, Jay's Oyster Bar, and David's. For breakfast go to Becky's. Lots of great conference space at this hotel. Easy to get to and parking is free.
Beautiful & clean place. Pay for daily parking. The rooms are nice & spacious. Love the convenience of the shuttle. Even without it, it's walking distants to the shops & restaurants. The staff are friendly & pleasant.
The hotel was nice and located in a great area. Most sites were walkable from hotel but it was rainy so we used the shuttle service which would drop off/pick up at various places. The staff was friendly and receptionist took the time to go over map with me and pointed out places to eat. Room was good and bed was comfortable. We used the pool.which was great. We ordered room service, it was quick and food was good. Would definitely stay here again.
